Found Energy is proud to announce the expansion of its leadership team with the hiring of Angie Ackroyd as Vice President of Engineering.
Angie is a seasoned technical leader with over 39 years of experience in bringing innovative products to market. In her new role, she will oversee the scaling of the company’s power systems and lead Found Energy’s engineering team.
“Angie is joining the team at an exciting time as we move closer to commercializing our aluminum fuel technology,” said Peter Godart, Co-Founder and CEO. “Her extensive experience in turning new technologies into products will help accelerate our efforts towards decarbonizing heavy industries.”
Angie’s career spans an impressively diverse range of industries, including hydrogen production and refueling infrastructure, oil and gas, SaaS, semiconductor solutions, consumer electronics, mobile robotic material handling systems, and functional safety systems for industrial equipment. She is passionate about building, mentoring, and leading highly effective engineering teams and is committed to developing and commercializing cleantech solutions. In her free time, Angie is an avid gardener who loves to cook and entertain family and friends.
